About Us

Nate is the proud Owner of Starboard Property Inspections and a Certified Master Inspector licensed in the State of Ohio. His career in inspections is built on the precision and accountability instilled during his service as a U.S. Navy Avionics Technician. While serving aboard the aircraft carriers USS Stennis and USS Reagan, he was entrusted with meticulously inspecting and troubleshooting the complex electronic systems of the F/A-18 Super Hornet jet. Through five years of experiencing the critical responsibility of uncovering life-saving discrepancies, Nate discovered a life-long calling in inspections, carrying the same rigorous standards into the homes he evaluates today.
During his military service, Nate was recognized for sustained superior performance, earning the honor of Junior Sailor of the Quarter. He was commended by the U.S. Navy Commander of Carrier Air Wing Nine for his pivotal role in establishing the first ever deployed Advanced Targeting Forward Looking Infra-Red (ATFLIR) troubleshooting work center in Navy history directly contributing to the correction of 403 discrepancies across 32 aircraft, enabling the successful execution of 12,389 flight hours, and maintaining a 92% readiness rate. He was further recognized by the Rear Admiral of the Navy for his role as a Release and Control Team Member during the squadron’s Conventional Weapons Technical Proficiency Inspection. In this high-intensity evaluation replicating combat ordnance loading conditions on a carrier flight deck, Petty Officer Dujanovic certified the integrity of each weapons station and aircraft armament interface. His diligence and attention to detail ensured zero discrepancies, safeguarded lives, and directly contributed to the squadron’s mission success. His professionalism, initiative, and dedication upheld the highest traditions of the United States Navy and were instrumental in maintaining America’s carrier strike group power projection capabilities worldwide.
In addition to these commendations, Nate was awarded the National Defense Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
Before transitioning into home inspections, Nate earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville and worked as a licensed mathematics teacher and basketball coach. He was awarded the University of Louisville Outstanding Student Teacher Award in Mathematics, a recognition of his excellence in teaching and mentorship—skills that continue to shape his leadership style and client relationships today.
Outside of his professional life, Nate is a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart and a proud father of two. His dedication to faith, family, service, and excellence forms the foundation of Starboard Property Inspections, where clients can expect the same uncompromising standards that defined his military career.
